Today started off exciting here in Davis, as we met up with the folks from Good Day Sacramento over at Arroyo Pool. We had been approached by them a few days prior about filming a segment about our upcoming kids triathlon, so we got special approval from the City to open the pool up early at 9:00 am. We rounded up about five kids (including two of our own) and filmed a short clip. I’m really excited that the weather forecast for this weekend is so favorable – this has GOT to be the mildest summer on record here in Sacramento in a LONG time. So, things are really shaping up for the race this weekend. All the volunteers are lined up, the race packets are just about complete and now it’s just a matter of execution.
